BACKGROUND OF THE WORKSHOP
The "Taller Artesano Ca'n Doblas" started in 1983 when Joan Doblas,
together with his grandfather
Antonio Camps (shoemaker since 1940), started to create his own models.
Our interest in creating light and comfortable sandals
led to the current
"Avarques" (or "Doblas") that are well-known for their lightness and
comfort. They are made with a rubber sole and a leather insole, and,
following our style, we started to create new models of sandals that
are of limited edition, thus giving a special character where one can
come across unique and original models.
Today in our shop/workshop, you can find various types of "Avarques": fantasy
avarques, hand-painted avarques and avarques in all shades
in leather or in
nubuk. "Avarques" with tyre rubber soles and ecological sandals
in various models.
